Speaking of Rod... I wish we had picked Paul Ellen over Andy Burcham. It just feels like something is missing with Burcham.

Burcham certainly is no Rod. He doesn’t have that excitement in his touchdown calls. Voice doesn’t get high enough.
Some of his quirks annoy me. Sometimes he will say “___ was tackled short of the first down line” without ever saying how short. Could be one yard or five yards for all I know.

He stumbles through calls too often... Wrong names, yard line, etc. Probably just unrealistic expectations on my part because Rod was such an effing pro.
