I think Gus needs help not a full freaking revamp. He is the offensive coach, but like any artist, his brain has hit a 'block'. He needs someone that can tweak his offense, not dismantle it.
I think we go with a QB coach that can install a pass game to go with the run.

Gus likes to take his time but I think they've got their guy and announce tomorrow before the recruiting weekend to start the ball rolling into NSD. Whoever was hired maybe needed some time to think things over and start preparing family etc for a move to AU.

I've heard from my sources that Carlson was going to transfer to Bama until Gus offered him the OC position. It's rumored that he's still considering both positions. I bet a guy $100 on it too.
