We are, as Auburn fans This sucks. If Millsap gets traded, I'm done with sports until spring.

Yea, let's not talk about how we actually fought back and were in it

The only reason we had to "fight back" to be in it was because of the predictable 2nd half collapse.

They outscored us 39-19 coming out of the lockerroom.

And I asked why Ronnie wasn't in the game when Dunans threw up that BS with 15 seconds left. You said he wasn't allowed in the game...

No I didn't. Said that about Harper. Don't know why you think it was intended for you. Didn't quote you. Didn't reply to you.

My bad, man. I don't know what I saw. It was a wall of text at the time and I thought it was to me. Could've done without that game.

Bruce has things to answer for in this game. I'm choosing to take something positive out of it. If y'all just want to be negative that's on you.

Edit: Also, the second hald score was 55-44. So it's that much more impressive that we went on a 25-16 run to be in it at the end.

I'm perfectly fine with letting Bruce have a few years to develop this team. CGM however has had his op and is currently circling the bowl

The only thing I want to know from Bruce is why are we stonewalled by a 1-3-1 and why Waddell is playing significant minutes.

There's some positives, but Purifoy is out 2+ games, Heron looks like he doesn't know what he's doing, Brown/Lang/Waddell are all playing big minutes during crucial stretches, and we're headed toward not even making the NIT if the coaches don't get them to play like they have a clue.

WTF are you talking about? He took over the game at the end of the first half and had 20 points.

Yes, he had some bad shots and stuff, but to say he doesn't know what he's doing is stupid.

Edit: Also Purifoy spraining his ankle isn't on the coaches, it's just bad luck. Injuries happen during seasons.

And Pearl chose not to play an obviously healthy Dunans in the 1st half.

Why? On-court issues? If so, Dunans seems to be the only player that pays for on-court mistakes on this team.

Off-court issues then? None have been revealed as of yet.

He deserved not to play for his shite switching in the last game.

He took over the game when Purifoy went out, but disappears and forces too much when he's not hitting shots. He did it twice in two possessions when they were down 8 or 9 with a lot of time left, including one that was forced from the key with half a shot clock where he didn't even look at anyone else. After that, they were down 12 with plenty of time, and he forced a missed 3. Their offensive rhythm looks like it's coming from Mike Woodson. "We're not moving the ball, so let's throw it to somebody, ISO, and see what happens."

OM has no depth. They played more or less 7 players the whole game, yet the energy didn't completely ramp up until late. Why?

I've bitched about our lack of movement as much as anyone. Mustapha is a freshmen, and one of the negatives against him coming out was his ability to shoot. He's going to have periods where he forces things, just like Purifoy and Harper have. Harper and Purifoy jack up shite shots early in the shot clock too.

Harper and Purifoy force shots a shite ton more than Heron. I actually don't think Heron forces that many shots.

Agree. Heron seems more efficient in shot selection.

This is what I'm saying. I'm sure GenesChin will correct us with PER stats, but shitting on Heron is just dumb to me.

There's lots of players on this team that deserve a spot on the training bike for shitty play and shitty decisions.

But it seems like Dunans is the only one held responsible.

I would imagine he's held to a higher standard since he's a senior. Bruce also said in Tip Off Club that he rewards his hardest workers which he said were the freshmen. Just reading into things, I don't think Dunans has the greatest work ethic. What happened with Dunans tonight was weird. It was almost like he was serving some type of suspension.

I'm not really shitting on him, but with Purifoy out for a while, his inefficiencies are front and center. When he's not creating or shooting, he needs to be doing something positive. I don't know how much is on the players. I'm confused at the way Pearl is adjusting to the new rules in college. If you're going to rotate 10-11 players, what's the point in playing tentative? And our best players are still committing stupid fouls in situations where it shouldn't be possible. How do you commit a key foul in a single possession game when you have a guy triple teamed? Against a team with no depth.
