Thank you for everything you share re: AU hoops. It is very much appreciated. I used to have close connections with the basketball program, especially on game day. I wiped Charles Barkley and Chuck whatshisface and other AU and SEC greats' sweat off the floor (and built an impressive collection of sweatbands and headbands from other awesome SEC players too that I collected after games. And this goes for almost all of you in the AU family and I have always offered anyone and everyone a great place to stay and experience Japan, here in my house. Plenty of room(s), great food, location, hot springs, surfing or skiing within an hour or two. I'm an hour and a bit west of Tokyo. Been separated 3 years, so it's just me here and always enjoy hosting and having company. It's a Southern and Japanese hospitality thing. War Eagle all.

I’m good with all of your post and you made very good points. But you made my point, no one gets a pass here and that’s a fact. Your post proves it right? You putting me and others in our place and we deserve it.
However, I take umbrage to one of your points. Where have people shite on you or E when you or him posted recruiting info? I think you struggle with the difference between the info you post and maybe folks challenging opinions, comments, or thoughts. I guess that is the nature of message boards good, bad, or indifferent. I would bet that I stood up for E more than I ever challenged him. I think E is a good person and has a good heart, and his intentions were good. We all have imperfections and faults. We should have all just got drunk with our Japan alcoholic and hoisted a cheers to E. But we treated it like any other thread and responded to the OP.
There was really one guy that went after him hard and they had a back channel friendship or whatever But had a falling out of some sort of which I didn’t really know why, but he has passed on now.

I clicked on those links to past recruiting threads. I forgot TT started the first ones and then sandman. E only started 2016 but I felt like he did several. Maybe he was just a big contributor in the others?

War Eagle Rocky and thank you. No, I have heard rumors of premium access for a while, but no, I don't.
I didn't intend to call any one out and I know and appreciate different posters on different boards, what is okay and what is not (and who, lol), which is why I spend way too much time here. I can't remember the last time I checked AUF or any other board. My sister posts there, preaches A LOT, seems to be well liked, so frick that.
Living in Japan, I have no connections there, info or anything else worthy of bringing to the board really. A few stories but that is about it. And that is why I really appreciated E, and Jonesy, you and everyone and anyone else who actually does bring something worth reading, nuggets, sauces, all of it. It is as entertaining almost always more than informational, which brings me back to my original intentions with my OP and subsequent posts.
It's all good. I am on my 2nd Beam and I have to stay up until 1:00 for AU. I will start with Gameday about 11:00 pm I guess. I love Auburn. I love college football. AUBURN football and basketball. I even caught a few baseball games the past year or too. It helps keep me home and in touch, in a way. Before the Internet, mom sent me AU games on VHS on Mondays during the season and I went to extreme efforts to avoid knowing what happening until I could pop that tape into the VCR. Good times. They pass more quickly every day, every year. Let's enjoy AU whipping ASU, enjoy their band (ahem, and a little James Brown now and then) and count our blessings. I am thankful for this board, AU sports, and every AU fan, always, everywhere. War Eagle

Nobody has said anything terribly disrespectful about E and Lord knows I’ve seen E shite talk others when they weren’t around too. I’m pretty sure Tigerpawl left when I was
banned. E and I were civil to each other post ban. And I was the worst one at the time.

What is all this about?
I rarely see Jonesy attacked on the recruiting board. He’s just a a likable passive Quaker Asian with his oats. And when the recruiting thread gets overrun other regulars usually help clean up.
