I watched it today and it was good but not a movie I am going to sit down to watch again. It was very slowly paced, I felt like I was half way in when i was actually 20 minutes in. I thought Cooper was good and Sienna Miller is still hot but neither was anything special in the movie.

I certainly see this like a lot of war movies, the crowd usually oversell war movies as better than they are for the sake of Murica!

I am in the "Murica" crowd, probably the biggest part of my redneck upbringing that I didn't leave behind. Most of these books are not well written but the stories are compelling. With that said all the military and SF people I speak with do not think very highly of these stories being publicized (with the exception of M. Latrell). Latrell was compelled to speak by superiors. Most other accounts discount the Team that supports the overall action.

If these accounts are interesting to you, then Mark Donald's book (Battle Ready) is one of the better ones IMO.

there are several different streams associated with the link in OP. I normally use promptfile, novamov or nowvideo

eta you have to let it load up. It does suck to stream from the beginning without loading, but the site gets good quality movies

I thought the movie was quite good and very hard to watch. I've seen so many war movies and the ones that get more personal (killing one on one) are definitely more sobering. As for the accent, Cooper sounds like Gus at times. I watched half the movie before realizing his wife was Sienna Miller, so she must have knocked it out with her American accent (I never like to read about movies ahead of time so I didn't realize she was playing the wife). Babe, babe, babe.
