That’s Kevin Steele’s new head coaching record after today’s loss. He took a shitty team and somehow made them look even shittier. I glad he’s gone. Coach Harsin has his work cut out for him deprogramming the loser mentality out of most of the team.

I said this in the game thread, but i feel like these guys are in for an manhood questioning, soul searching, how bad do i really want to be here type of off season. And it is long overdue. We need a new mindset. A new strength snd conditioning coach. A whole new identity. I can’t wait to see what comes put of this crucible.

Agree. I remember when we had a coaching change at the end of my jr year in highschool. New head coach gave us the hardest off season I had been apart of and it paid huge divends the next season.

And some of the fanbase.

Remember, we the next Tennessee if we lose Gus.

Meanwhile, just went 6-5 this year with 4 blowouts, a loss to fired Boom, and got manhandled by Chicago nerds.

Welcome coach Harsin, I wish you the very best.

I remember when Tubs was hired in '98. There wasn't a lot of info out there back then because the Internet, while around, wasn't really popular.

I remember hearing he treated his first spring and fall camp like a military boot camp. He made some guys quit. We need that again.

Of course times are different now. No two-a-days and what not.

I went through one of those after my freshman year in college. It was hell, but it set the stage for the next three years. We trimmed all the dead wood and really changed the culture.

He also yanked some schollies. There were a handful of Bowden recruits that were not P5 caliber. Tubs got a lot of grief for that, but it needed to be done.

Of course it also resulted in us having Don Timmons start a game at RB
