LSU threatening. Runners at 2nd and 3rd after Stanfield hits a double.

Andreas getting the hook. A good enough 4 innings. Hope the pen has it in them.

Griffin Graves with a masterful performance to get us out of that jam. LSU strands 3.

3-0 B5.

LSU gets a baserunner on a walk with one out. Griffin blows the next batter away with a 4 seamer then that runner is caught stealing with a piss missile from Fralick.

3-0 B6.

Why do we keep 4 pitch walking their worst hitter.

Comes to nothing as the next batter grounds into a double play.

3-0 T7.

Fabian Ks. Snow gets a single. Rembert grounds out to advance him then LSU intentionally walks Ike. Now they’re going to the pen for Cooper. Cowan was still cruising pretty good so I’m a bit surprised by that decision.

Coop flies out.

3-0 T8. Griffin still on the mound but one has to think we’re getting close on him.

Griffin surrenders his first hit. It’s a double but luckily the guy on first was held up.

3-0 T8. 1 out. Dylan Watts on for the save attempt.

LSU drags one across on a fielder’s choice, then another on a single.

3-2 T8.

Watts limits the damage and we escape.

3-2 B8. Sure would be nice to get some insurance.

Dag blast it. Bub gets a single to give us a baserunner then gets picked off. Then Guevara lines out.

3-2 B8.
