That is good news! I think it was 247 that said Fralick was planning on staying at AU as well.

Anybody living near P'Cola can check out our Tigers vs FSU at the Wahoo's stadium on Oct 12th. It's being reported they will play two 7 inning games. They are only exhibition games but still should be a great time at a nice venue.

Caldwell reporting that transfer Eric Snow is having a really nice Cape Cod summer league. He's hitting .361 over 23 games. Irish is also having a good summer season as well hitting .298. His last Cape Cod news was Hayden Murphy has been pitching well, with a 2-1 record and a 2.89 era over 18.2 innings with 28 k's and 6 walks.

I have read baseball will be allowed somewhere near 34 baseball players. If we scholarship all then the lottery state schools no longer have their competitive advantage.

A lot more scholarships are 100% heading to @NCAABaseball.

One VERY important clarification is that teams can spread 18 scholarships, for instance, over 34 players. Yes, you can give out 34 fulls, but you can also increase from 11.7 to 18-20, and then spread that over 34 players.

One mid-major coach just told me: "That makes this situation way, way more doable for mid-majors."

Sources believe that almost all of the SEC, ACC, and Big 12 institutions will fund the full number of scholarships in baseball.

So, this change in increased scholarships helps Auburn, correct? That’s huge.

Yeah, you can scholarship your whole roster now so hope style scholarships matter less. The question is how many scholarships the AD will give baseball.

Both, title 9 is still in play and obviously the AD is not going to go into debt for baseball.

From a global perspective I think we are going to see kids having to sign over their NIL rights to the school and then school sells the players services to make the cash to pay for schollys and NIL. There will obviously be some exceptions, like Livy Dune and her Instagram deal, but I see the schools acting as the business manager for the players.

To the person above. There is no way that AD Cohen does not fully fund scholarships for baseball. We are in a big boy league. We play big boy ball you have to fund to compete.
