9th inning drama. Pierce beat out a ground ball, called safe and was then overturned by the home plate umpire (Burdette). There’s already been two questionable calls on foul balls earlier down first that Burdette made the calls. All 3 calls have gone against the Tigers. Butch ain’t happy with him.

You can’t overturn a judgement call it has to be an appeal to the home ump for a pull off the bag or not.

Not watching, listening but Dunn came out to question the call. I suppose first base ump then asked for help from home plate umpire. After that talk they changed the safe call to out.

Foster lost one in the lights…guy gets a dbl off an infield fly.
And a single to right field with a great throw to plate from Kirby and LaRue misses the tag.
Another single to right. Runners on the corners, 1 out.
Strike out, fly out gets Cannon out of the jamb. Ags up 1-0
Tigers down in order.

Irish puts one through on the right side to score another.

And a pass ball on a walk scores the runner and we’re tied. Just terrible.
