Have I missed anything but the transfer portal sucked for us this year. Any one that will play this coming year has to be enrolled now, correct?
Only if they’re from the conference.
We’ve taken like 5 guys so far. I think we’ll take 2-3 more I’d guess

Not disagreeing with anything you said at all.. but wasn't he just a 3 star?
He was a very high 4 star until about half way through his senior season and just kept dropping.

I didn't remember him being that high, but I did remember him being that low lol.
To go along with what Jones said.. I think it looks good for us getting the transfer DL from UCLA (I could be wrong though), but I don't know anything about him.

He did a complete free fall. I think he was nearly a top 100 guy at some point his sophomore or junior year

How many high school OL do you think we end up signing? Jones or anyone. My guess would be six and four being projected as tackles. We need the dues since we have about 9, sixth year seniors.

JGT says S Jordyn Morgan from Iowa State, SDE Myron Warren from Texas, and Isiah Land DPOY in FCS has been in contact with Auburn.
Land played with Owen Pappoe

Yes I think he topped out at 94 before like you said his free fall. He was still a .9200ish during his senior year and then just continued to fall.
He has speed. Shaky hands and couldn’t catch contested balls consistently. Was a poor route runner as I mentioned before. I think we can do better even if we go to a smaller school.
I do think we need 1-2 WR transfers prior to the season but his lack of getting on the field at Miami should tell you where his head space is at. He would rather chase arse and smoke weed. That’s the last I will comment about Dazalin.

Alpine I agree with you but I think we need 7. 4 OT, 2 OG, and Joiner at C and all need to be from high school

Isaiah Land, Florida A&M. The Rattlers.
When I was a kid I used to watch the Rudy Hubbard, Florida A&M Rattlers football review on Sunday, right after the FSU/Bowden review. Rudy Hubbard had this thick, southern drawl that you'd find yourself trying to finish his sentences it was so drawn out. This was before FSU and Bowden got really good so they were both close to .500 programs IIRC.

We need 6-7. But we also need to rebuild that room with several back to back large classes. That’s ideal but you strike with the opportunity is there, IMO
I think they’ll take 5 plus an upperclassman through the portal. That’s a minimum. Our inside has some depth but it’s really just Colby Smith at tackle as an underclassmen and maybe Langlo and Harris depending on how they’re developing. That’s razor thin

I was thinking 5-6ish this year 3-4ish next year. And ideally not ignoring that position group going forward

No the the DE from Texas. He's a junior and has barely seen the field on a bad Texas team.
Yes please to the FCS player. We already have plenty of LBs and he's too small to play DE.. but you find a place for a guy who had 19 sacks last year.

We’ll have 8 or 9 scholarships to use FWIW. And upperclassmen don’t use up many years. Might take the flier on the Texas guy even

I'm not disagreeing with you, but isn't that the reason we heard that we aren't taking any WR transfers (so far at least).. Because they didn't just want to take warm bodies and back ups?

Not specifically to WRs but Harsin did say he wanted transfers that will play. He didn’t necessarily say start, I believe.
On Warren — I like his size inside as a rotation guy. From what I’ve read he’s heavy and isn’t working outside. IMO, we need to rotate interior lineman and we need bodies there. Because he’s out of conference he can also eat up snaps in 2022, especially the noncon slate
It’s a flier. He’s got a bit more eligibility left than I initially thought, though. Coaches don’t have to let him stay on after he graduates. Which should be this upcoming season
