If RPO is what we want to do, why are you pulling the guy off the field that was running RPO the best tonight in the middle of drives? Can't you correlate that when you pulled Ashford the drives died? The best throw was from Ashford, the best running lanes for RB or QB was with Ashford. PT wouldn't even stick it out for a few yards to make it first down several times. He's afraid to be hit. It's not working, stop forcing it. Ashford should definitely get the reps and the start this week, or I dunno STOP pulling him when the offense is succeeding.

Week after week we see the same thing. It’s infuriating seeing Ashford pulled right after leading a scoring drive for Throne to stall out the offense again.

I think Ashford was in the game based on packages. That felt obvious when getting pulled on third down.
Freeze said in the presser that Cobb was in the game over Battie and Hunter because of the packages that were working.
So, I dont think Ashford was pulled just to give Thorne another try. I think Ashford didnt have the offense to reflect his skillset. Ashford probably hadnt been running the same packages that Throne was running, etc.
Oh wow, this is a gem too.

Jville be flexing on them hoes.

This why I hate rotating QB’s though. You’re not giving yourself much flexibility personnel wise and certainly not enough practice reps

Makes you wonder why Freeze doesn’t want to play Ashford the entire game, since he’s the good stuff…

Context. He was referencing what worked some in the first half.

We have seen Ashford lead us when the season is over and the season is basically over. Now we are playing for personal pride and personal goals. Ashford was in fact the QB that appeared to move the ball better last night. He also had better body language on the sidelines. You could see the fire in Ashfords stomach on the sidelines and that is what we need if we are just going to play to turn out the lights.
Corch it seems you are always talking about not picking sides, you just want to win, yada yada, however you really seem hell bent over Thorne > Ashford. Thorne has not showed you that in an Auburn offense. I will take the guy with heart and some wheels and let's pick someone off. We are just turning the light out by now anyway.
Here is an anecdote of Thorne and what he is doing to this team:

My question to people looking for more advanced discussion than "oh no!! I'm just now finding out we suck again" is: Does having Robby roll out the rest of the year and then come back next year enough to sway WR recruits to stay with us or can it have the opposite effect. I cannot imagine WRs wanted the Coach Caddillac offense. They want the Hugh Freeze offense that bred AJ Brown.

Ok, how about every SEC game so far? Ashford has moved the offense better against aTm, thUGA, and now LSU. The offense with worse coaching and personnel looked better last year with Ashford than it does this year with Throne. Quit white knighting for Throne. Do you want a chance to win games, or does your never Ashford attitude trump what’s best for Auburn to win?
