Juco DT Marquis Burks calls Auburn his leader though Auburn is in wait and see mode with him.
He will have to commit to sign on late signing day if he is going to be in our class.

Weird update-
KN says Brian George will not sign with Auburn Wednesday. Says Auburn is looking for the right fit and doesn’t think he’s it.
Honestly very shocked. KN also said they aren’t going to update on him again. Really weird

I wonder if they felt like he was still looking around after telling them he was fully committed. He said after the Iron Bowl he knew where he wanted to sign.. I'm assuming he meant us and told the coaches. The other day it came out he was still trying to set up a visit somewhere... maybe they pulled a Cohen on him and told him they we're tired of the back and forth. That was also around the time we heard Appiah wasn't taking the trip to Tenn.
Either way I'm more than fine taking Appiah, assuming thats who get get now.

Sorry, that’s the other note KN said. He said Auburn doesn’t appear to be pushing for Appiah

Interesting.. I don't have any idea then. Isn't UGA looking at another DB in addition to Reed? Maybe its him or maybe we don't take another DB..
One thing is for certain.. Between now and Wednesday things will be interesting.

Just went Bunkering. A poster theorized on Brian George that Iggy told the staff he was staying & thus the staff doesn't see a need in taking another CB, or at least another juco CB. A connected who usually gets good info liked the post FWIW.

Maybe, but from the way KN's post read it seemed more serious than that. If it was Iggy I don't think he would be as secretive about it.. he basically didn't want to address this at all other than to say George isn't signing with us.

KN’s phrasing made it sound like it was Auburn’s choice to not push for Appiah. They already moved away from Dennis

Yeah they did, but I thought it was only because they liked George better.
