quote:
Cameron Riley, LB, target
CURRENT RANKING: 198
PREVIOUS RANKING: 124
411: Riley dropped a good bit but remains someone the Tigers apparently want in the class. Auburn and Mississippi State are the teams to watch but Riley will visit Alabama this weekend so that's certainly something to track. Despite his drop with 247, we still have him ranked higher than the other sites in the industry.

quote:
Robby Ashford, QB, target
CURRENT RANKING: 211
PREVIOUS RANKING: 187
411: Ashford began the 2018 season with a bang but was a little up-and-down after that, which often is typical for young quarterbacks. At the Under Armour Future 50 in January, he did not have his best showing. Worth noting, he did heat up a little toward the end of that event. Ashford is an elite athlete at the quarterback position -- and a top-flight baseball recruit. We're not sure at this time where he sits on the Auburn quarterback board.

quote:
Jalen Rivers, OT, target
CURRENT RANKING: 212
PREVIOUS RANKING: 65
411: Rivers didn't fare well in this rankings update. That said, he has a Power-5 tackle body all the way. He will visit the Tigers this weekend. Auburn did not make his recently released top five, but still is considered to be somewhat of a factor. This weekend's visit will tell us more about the Tigers' chances.

quote:
Andy Boykin, DT, target
CURRENT RANKING: 232
PREVIOUS RANKING: 223
411: Boykin is a former Auburn commit from Georgia who continues to communicate with the Tigers. In fact, he visited them again last weekend. Where he might land at this point is anyone's guess. Things seem to be fairly open in this recruitment. Georgia, though, certainly would be another team to watch.
Think he thought he had a spot in UGA's class when he decommitted that might not actually be there...

I think AU moved up a spot after the rankings adjustments to #9. Pretty sure they were at #10 the other day

Ratledge is a big Auburn target, but right now the Tigers don't seem to be in a very good spot.
Has there ever been a single sentrence written that encapsulates OL recruiting under Gus more than this one?

Pretty good for AU considering our track record on these
Pretty good bump for Evans which aligns with the amount of top tier offers he has.
Looks like they’ve classified Jernigan as a OG now

KN put up an insider yesterday. Here's a quick summary
- AU hosting another Junior Day this weekend. Here's an early look at prospects KN has confirmed will be on campus
4* OT Jalen Rivers
4* DE Chantz Williams
4* LB Jayion McCluster
4* TE Jeremiah Pegues
3* WR Alex Adams (MSST Commit)
3* LB Jayland Parker
3* CB Rashad Battle
- KN says Pegues is the name to keep an eye on. He lives in Oxford but is apparently open to leaving the state. Big for AU to have him on campus twice already. He & 5* Arik Gilbert are AU's top TE targets
- AU believes they are a legit contender for 5* DL Myles Murphy. The focus on his recent trip was academics specifically AU's engineering program. His parents joined him on visit & AU thinks he's the same type of human being as Derrick Brown meaning high achiever both on and off the field. UGA holds all the CB picks but AU & CLEM are right there
- Looks like AU has emerged as the top team for 3* LB Desmond Tisdol. Apparently his recent visit surged AU ahead of SCAR. UF is starting to give him more attention. He's high on AU's defensive staff. KN CB'd him to AU yesterday
- 4* OG Avery Jernigan is becoming a top recruiter for AU. He's apparently well liked by a lot of other recruits and is working hard to help build AU's 2020 class

Shaw visits Auburn again, has high interest in Tigers (Rivals)
I was curious early on where AU would recruit him to play but he confirmed it's on defense
quote:
Eric Shaw lives a short drive from Auburn, and the three-star athlete has been taking advantage of it.
Shaw, from Reeltown in Notasulga, was back in Auburn last Friday for his second visit of the month.
“It was kind of last minute, but I went up again and just talked to the coaches,” Shaw said. “It’s close to home, so I can go up just about anytime I want.”
Shaw has developed good relationships with Auburn’s coaches, specifically area recruiter Kodi Burns, defensive coordinator Kevin Steele and linebackers coach Travis Williams. He spoke to each of them during the visit.
“It went really good,” Shaw said. “They are recruiting me to play outside linebacker and I love that. I love playing defense and I really like Coach T-Will. He’s great. He keeps it real with you. He tells you everything straight forward. And he’s fun to be around.”
Williams is a big reason Shaw has high interest in Auburn, but not the only one.
“Auburn is one of my top teams,” Shaw said. “It’s close to home and I get a home feeling when I’m there.”
Shaw also has high interest in Notre Dame, Texas &M, Mississippi State and Georgia Tech. He doesn’t plan to make an early decision.
“I’m going to wait it out,” he said. “I want to weigh all of my options before making a decision because I want to make sure I make the right decision.”
Shaw tore an ACL in the middle of his junior season. He’s five months into rehab and hopes to be back to full speed by the end of the summer.
“I should be ready to start jogging and running in the next month or two,” he said. “I can’t wait to get back.”

Seems like some bigger schools making a run at Zimmerman. FSU offered 2 days ago. Penn State just offered

Interested to see junior day list today. Looks like could be a some top ranked OTs on campus if Mitchell Mayes, John Young and Jalen Rivers all do make it this weekend

Gus will miss on all three. Then we will pretend we actually want the 3stars OTs we get all along.

I'm happy to see some positivity from you Branningan assuming we are gonna sign multiple 3 star OTs
