Demetric Warren CB'd Wayna Morris to AU.

I generally hate the guy because he seems to be homerish to bammer, but he does communicate with recruits a lot on the camp circuit, it appears.

Little brother much?

What about Derrick Brown, Monty Adams, TD Moultry, Davidson, Big Kat, etc. ....
We don't have evidence on them one way or another but we can't be naive either. We play the game just like nearly every other major college.

Are there any other prospects apart from Morris, Pappoe, Simpson, and Sheffield leaning Auburn or showing interest that are committing soon?

2020 WR Kobe Hudson is supposed to announce April 27th

As for 2019 kids, not sure anymore are expected to announce in the next month. Would keep an eye on 3* TE Tyler Fromm

AU got 2 CBs for Wanya Morris this morning. One from Demetric Warren who is always putting in CB picks & the other interestingly is from SECCountry LSU insider. Morris recently took an OV to LSU...

We need some wins on the trail this year, cause we took a lot of Ls the last couple of years.

We've gotten plenty of Ws. Plenty of things to complain about, but recruiting under Malzahn shouldn't be one of them. We're consistently in the top 10.

Won some big ones too tho (Monday, Hill, Martin, Miller) but ya landing Pappoe & Morris May 1st would generate some real buzz around this recruiting class

Do we lead for Eboigbe or Derick Hall? Keith has us picked for them.

The interesting thing on Warren though is he flipped the pick to AU from the Vols pick he made 11 days ago.

Think Keith says it was more a feel on Eboigbe than any hard intel. Just that he thinks in end he lands at AU. Don't think he's deciding soon. Sounds like another AU/UGA battle

KN has said that Hall is an AU/OM battle. Again not sure if he's committing soon

Bo Nix is the future bro. Malik is probably fine with being a qb2 his whole career and Gatewood will transfer IMHO.

Malik will start next year, I hope Gus would rather run Nick Marshall-esqe style offense than throw Nix into the gauntlet as a freshman.

Word on campus is that he's a freak athlete and can throw well but had trouble picking up offense/reading coverage, but I agree it's far more likely that he either transfers or moves to WR.

Simmons has an update on Rivals on 2020 commit Andy Boykin. Summing Boykins words...

-UGA is the only school that can take him from AU
-Likes Garner, keeps him on point about grades
-bonded with AU coaches better than anywhere else
-McGee & Smart pushing him hard, not talking bad about AU
-Family visited UGA for 1st time recently & will be back for G-Day this weekend
-Still committed to AU but it's close, AU a few points higher

Anyone remember the last time he visited AU?

Any word on OL targets? We desperately need a solid OL class but I haven't seen anything buzz other than uncertainty surrounding OL recruiting.

You haven't heard about Wanya Morris & the AU battle with UT the past month? There is no other buzz on the OL crootin front right now. The media is focused on him. An evaluation period starts soon & goes through May. I imagine we will have a clearer picture of what else JB wants on the OL after then.

I mean that has obviously been everywhere but I was just referring to prospects outside of Morris.

I feel like during his previous stint at Auburn he was a pretty solid evaluator of talent so lets hope that continues.

FYI I try & keep the 2nd post in this thread up to date with targets & news tho need to probably update with recent Flott commitment

Board is still getting sorted so more names will pop up soon. Right now seems like AU feels best shots are with 4* OT Wanya Morris & 4* OG Keiondre Jones. Probably trailing Bama for 5* C Clay Webb & 4* OT Amari Kight. We made a move with 4* OT Xavier Truss when he visited & chances are good he will return for another visit tho PSU is thought to be his top team. Also 4* OG William Putnam visited recently & I think AU will be a factor in that race. Will probably see more names pop up over the next few months as the evaluation period has started which means coaches can watch recruits practice

Keep an eye on 3* OT Jayme Simmons. Instate kid that need to put on weight but recently transferred to one of the top programs in the state. Strikes me as a guy Grimes would like tho he's probably a further down the line option. I really like the Buford kids 4* Harry Miller, 3* Carter Colquitt & 3* Riley Simonds too
