"Sharp, listed as 6-foot-5 and 307 pounds, has played in six games as a backup the past two seasons after redshirting in 2015. He will enter his junior season as the backup left tackle to Prince Tega Wanogho, who was one of the team’s most improved players this spring.
Grimes didn’t do a whole lot of position swapping on the offensive line during 15 spring practices so right now Sharp would substitute directly for Wanogho at left tackle in the event of an injury.

Tho haven't gotten impression we've been as high on him since Grimes arrived. Just not sure what 4* OT is actually a realistic option at this point besides hoping Wanya flips or we pay off Dobbs

Was me.. and when I brought up the Kolbi Fuqua situation where he almost had to take a gray shirt Flott was one of the guys I was thinking about, so it wouldn't surprise me if he/we were looking around.
Regarding Bailey Sharpe and the back up LT. I could see us trying Horton at LT before starting Sharpe.

I was being very shallow but just would be nice to see a top 150 player at the OT position on board

KN put up another insider this afternoon
- 3* OT Justin Osborne measured in at 6'4" 300 lbs at AU this weekend but more importantly had a measured arm length of 35 inches. In other words, he has the size to play tackle
- Osborne could commit as soon as this weekend but KN says probably no later than next week. AU in good spot
- 4* ATH Jashawn Sheffield will take an OV this weekend. If AU gets mom on board Sheffield will commit
- 5* LB Nakobe Dean canceled OV this weekend because his dad couldn't make the trip & he wants to be on every OV. He will definitely take one in the fall according to his mother. However, he's taking an unofficial to Bama this weekend....
- Some 2021 QB news () Brock Vandagriff is expected to visit later this weeke along Aaron McLaughlin. Apparently Vandagriff might have moved to the top of teh board & AU is pushing hard. So maybe a 2021 commit on horizon?
- AU really like where they stand with 4* DB Zion Puckett right now. Could play CB or nickel

KN also had another note on 5* CB Andrew Booth. Says very good source believes decision could honestly go either way. After BCW AU moved ahead then after CLEM visit they moved back in front. Now source believes AU might have a slight edge but it could change again. KN does not believe Booth is trying to drum up excitement for commit but is honestly torn. Decision could happen soon

Another CB name to monitor 4* Adonis Otey. Visited today & left with offer tho KN says Otey told him he already had one before but whatevs

George Pickens killed it this weekend at IMG Academy. One of the best performances I’ve seen in 7-on-7 in quite sometime
He still seems too good to be true. I feel inclined by a matured instinct that was born from getting screwed over way too many times to pinch myself when I see his tape and frame.
