It's gonna be UGA. Spots are tight so he's pushing guys to claim their spots or risk being left out. Easy to sell that when it seems like u are signing 5* after 5*

He's picking UGA. Getting his spot while he has one.

Not fun. And the SEC Rant is unbearable. God, please, Oklahoma don't let us down.

As for Ford, would love to have him. But why would any sane TE with other top choices pick AU at this point? For the honor of blocking out of the backfield as an H-back?

Name three teams that actually utilize a TE today. UGA has one of the best TE's in the country and he has 7 catches on the year.

Which is more than twice as many as Auburn's TEs have had in the last 3 years.

Oh no doubt we have turned the TE position into an extra blocker, but so have most power 5 schools so there is only so much that can factor into your decision.

We actually threw it to Sal a decent amount this year until we realized throwing was only one part of the completed pass concept..

We don't have anyone on our roster with his skill set. UGA does and you see how they utilized him this year. Now Ford is just going to be his backup for two years.

I think Lindsey really wants a dynamic TE to use in his offense. We tried to get Sal Cannella the ball this year- he just couldn't catch anything thrown his way. So we abandoned that part of the offense halfway through they year. If we recruited a legit TE this year, I could easily see him come in next year and catch at least 7 passes.

The thing about Cannella is when he was in the game he was never lined up as a TE. They used him as a big WR. I don't think I ever saw him once lined up on the line next to the OT. But I do remember seeing him lined up in the slot and on the outside.

I actually think the new hard 25 rule helps teams like Auburn. (I prob should just say any team not bama and now apparently georgia) it sucks but a reality. It looks like The only thing that's going to slow georgia down this year is running out of spots

I don't even consider Sal a TE. I would hate to see him in a down stance next to an OT, trying to block.

Yep. When they did that, I think they were using a walk-on OL wearing a TE number. Tucker Brown (6-3/288) #86?

Trooper Taylor would've got his arse. Remember when Trooper and Luper were getting almost every *5 in the country to come visit Auburn? Good times

Disclaimer: I don't want either back, but damn. They could recruit.

Yup. I feel like the most use we got out of him was that gif at the end of the bama game.

Sal may not be able to catch, but his dance party moves on the sideline are strong.

So he’s got that going for him...which is nice.

Luke Ford just chose UGA.. sucks we didn't get him. I'm guessing Nate Watson is who we go after next.
