Smart is crushing everyone on recruiting trail. Looks like gonna beat Clemson for Cade Mays

FYI Tennessee offered Benjie Franklin yesterday. Have a feeling a lot more offers will roll in after early signing period and teams go hunting for quality CB targets

Don't blame him honestly. Last year's class of LBs probably surpassed him on the depth chart.

Yeah, it's not surprising at all. He was pretty much thought of as a body on the depth chart even during his recruitment.

I THINK that's the case but there has been a ton of conflicting info around all of that. I am just going to assume that's the case until I hear otherwise. KN hinted today that there's a chance AU might be able to sign 26 but didn't really explain why

So some smoke coming from UGA board that they are gonna flip Quay Walker tomorrow. Guy hinting at it has been spot on so far but I will have to see it to believe it. I would both find it amusing Smart bested Saban again & irritating he took another top player we were after...

Not sure about that. Yes UGA is trouncing us but they are trouncing everyone. Bama isn't having their usual elite class. Good chance we finish 3rd in SEC with us hitting on some big needs most notably at safety

Also I still think we land one of those stud OL out of FL. The good news is none of them are considering UGA

Who of the big names left do we still have a shot at?

Ross, probably not.

Maybe some miracle OL out of Florida?

4* WR Anthony Schwartz has us as his leader & plans on committing at Under Armour All-American game

4* OT Richard Gouraige, 4* OT William Barnes and 4* OT Dylan Wonnum are all expected to OV to AU in January

4* DE Caleb Tannor is our backup plan at DL which is kinda crazy when u think about it

4* WR Justyn Ross still has an OV to AU but considering what we have at WR he's really just a bonus at this point


Won't argue this class is lacking top end elite talent but it's a solid one overall and has a shot at finishing #3 in the SEC depending on what LSU & A&M do. Not bad considering this coaching staff was on hot seat up until the UGA game. Also if we land one of those OTs (far from a miracle FWIW) that's far from finishing with a fizzle
