This dude just committed. He's played only one year of football. He's gonna be a monster in a few years

KN also says Christian Tutt is on campus and is currently moving in. Ohio state made a strong late push but AU will hold onto him

KN says Zakoby McClains OV is over and it went really well. No doubt he will sign Wednesday

KN says that apparently Stanford might now be the team to beat for 4* DL Andres Fox. KN is sticking AU on his CB because AU still likes where they stand but a lot of confidence coming out of California. If Fox were to pick Stanford AU might turn to 4* Caleb Tannor. Big question with him are grades. If staff feels he will qualify then will probably push & sounds like we would be the favorite to land him
Honestly I like Tannor more so I can live with Fox going to Stanford

Oladele is about 2% body fat at 230 lbs. OL seems unlikely for this one
But it will be a case study for Garner’s ability to develop an guy with ideal DE size and length

KN just followed this up by saying he heard from a source "If he gets into Stanford, he's going to Stanford". Ryan Johnson 2.0. Somehow this is Kodi Burns's fault

KN says Joey Gatewood won't be at bowl practice because he still has come classwork to finish up. Still expected to enroll early tho
Also says Daquan Newkirk will practice this week. Newkirk thinks he's got a great shot at being in the rotation next fall

KN says doesn't look like anything will happen with Jalen Goss today. Chance he could pop in next couple of days

I gotta be honest... Im an AU grad and all, but if my son got a chance to go to Stanford on a full ride, He'd be headed west. That degree will pay big dividends long after Football is done. Plus they play pretty damn good ball there.

I'd smack the hell out of my boy if he got accepted to Stanford and went to AU.

An undergraduate degree from Stanford is not that big of a difference to an AU degree in the eyes of employers.

It is substantially different. Especially in terms of quality of company that recruits on campus there vs Auburn. For instance none of the consulting companies really interview Auburn kids coming out of the school of business. You dont see many of the major tech companies like Microsoft or Apple there either. Even despite the Tim Cook connection.

I respectfully disagree. I’ve been recruiting for 18 years, most of that for Fortune 500 companies.
In my current banking line of business, we have only hired a handful of students right out of college in the past two years and those are generally entry level positions.
I need people with demonstrated skill and achievements in the role they are applying to. Apple and other Fortune 100 companies can hire whoever they want to a degree. I’ve seen programmers with a liberal arts degree who are head and shoulders over a recent grad with an IT/Computer Science degree.
Undergrad degrees aren’t that big of a factor.
