We had 4* Emory Jones on campus as well but wouldn't say it's over yet with Williams. Miami has the momentum but if he does official for Iron Bowl we got a great shot. Dude loves Lindsey

Things looking pretty good if we can keep what we got, pick up the guys we are supposedly leading for, at least win a couple of Seth Williams, Schwartz, Quay Walker battles and some other 50/50 guys and make something happen at tackle. Missing on Traore and Wonnum would hurt.
Not good enough compared to what UGA is doing but enough to where we can remain in contact and survive this wave of momentum they had running through the East and with a new coaching staff.

How are Tutts grades, I know they were a big issue.
You are right about Traore and Wonnum, we really, really need at least one true tackle in this cycle, and two would be great no doubt.

Crazy went from looking like a graveyard for CB prospects to hopefully landing a 4* prospect Tuesday
Also KN said before UGA game that AU now plans on taking at least 2 possibly 3 corners this cycle. My guess is that means Carlton Davis is planning on leaving early. Would love to see us take Foucha for that 2nd CB spot and call it a day

Winning does funny things. If AU can finish this season strong they will win more of those 50/50 battles than they lose. Malzahn's hot seat plus AU's inability to finish past few seasons have killed us on recruiting trail. Problem #1 is handled, now go get an SEC Championship & all the negative recruiting ammo is gone. Don't think it's a coincidence Gus was so fired up beating Kirby that dude negative recruits the hell out of AU, more so than Saban

We really need UF to get their shite together so UGA doesn't have free run in the East. No doubt they are putting together a beastly class this year and off to great start next year but I am still not sold on him being this boss of a coach. Saturday's win was a big help for AU in battles with UGA on the trail. Changes the narrative somewhat

Personally Traore is the bigger need. I worry that Ashley or Sammons won't be ready next season. Wonnum isn't a day 1 starter type at OT but I would still like him. Traore could come in & lock down that RT spot. Maybe someone like Bailey Sharp has developed & can hold the fort if Ashley is still a year away but no doubt offensive tackle recruiting continues to be our biggest struggle
Good news is there is a TON of OT talent in next year's class. Hopefully AU capitalizes like they did in the 2017 class

- Trey Hill was the man of the hour on Saturday. He hung out with a lot of recruit and received plenty of personal attention from the Auburn coaching staff. With so many people believing this to be an Auburn-Georgia battle, this game seemed to be particularly important to Hill. With that said, he told reporters after the game that his impression of the schools didn’t change because of the outcome.
- With that said, Hill clearly seemed to want Auburn to win the game. He was one of the more entertained fans in the recruit section. Normally a quiet guy, I saw Hill loudly cheering on more than one occasion. He even admitted after the game he wanted Auburn to win.
- Here’s the big thing: Hill will be back for the Iron Bowl and is hopeful to take an official visit.
- As far as official visits go, Hill will take his next one to LSU next week.
Georgia will receive an official visit at some point in December most likely.
FWIW Rusty sticking with his UGA prediction. However, seems like AU guys are feeling good about AU

- There were murmurs on Saturday that Tank Jenkins was on commit watch. That didn’t end up happening, but Jenkins feels like he’s on the verge of making a decision. When asked a timetable, he said it would likely happen “soon,” which he then described as in a week or two.
- This will be an interesting one to track to see how connected Jenkins’ recruitment is to Trey Hill. They are similar players, and Auburn is very much in the game with both of them.
- Jenkins will be back for both the Louisiana-Monroe and Alabama games, if that gives you an idea of where Jenkins’ mind is at as he closes in on a decision.
- If it’s not Auburn, it’s likely Oklahoma or Louisville. Those two schools — along with Auburn, of course — are the ones he plans to travel to for official visits.
Would be shocked if we took 4 interior OL but I wouldn't hate it as long as we can get at least ONE decent offensive tackle on board. Not sure why guards love us but tackles don't

- Quay Walker made it for yet another Auburn game, which I believe is his third time this season in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
- He confirmed after the game that Auburn still has a shot. Multiple sources seem to feel Auburn has a legitimate opportunity to pull of the flip here, but flipping an Alabama commit is never easy.
- He’ll be at the Iron Bowl, which could end up as an important measuring stick for the Alabama commit.

- Caleb Johnson has three schools he’s considering — Georgia, Auburn and Tennessee. Georgia is up there for him, and he admitted the result of the game did a little bit to sway his perception of both programs.
- The big thing with Johnson is patience. He said Saturday night he’s waiting to see all the changes that are made at Tennessee, and Butch Jones was fired Sunday. Johnson wants to see what move is made there before completely eliminating the Volunteers, or perhaps increasing his interest in them again.
Auburn likes him as a strong-side defensive end, which is similar to how Georgia and Tennessee view him.
- Johnson would like to have a decision next month, but a lot of that will be dependent on how he’s prioritized by Auburn and Georgia, as well as Tennessee’s changes. Auburn really likes his athleticism, but since the Tigers are in a good spot with a lot of different guys, it’ll be interesting to see where he ends up on Auburn’s board.
- He will be at the Iron Bowl.
If we get Fox & Oladele then we won't take this kid. My bet is he ends up in Knoxville

- CD Daniels is a cornerback to watch. He’s committed to Memphis, but communicates with Auburn secondary coach Greg Brown at least twice a week, especially after Friday night games.
- Daniels said if Auburn were to offer, it’s something that he’ll “really have to consider.” It’s either Auburn or Memphis at this point.
- Asked what Greg Brown has been telling him, “He just loves my playmaking ability and said he could see me making plays here. They said to keep in touch. I think it’s going to come soon,” Daniels said.
- He will return for the Iron Bowl.

- This was A.J. Curry’s second game visit. Because of the number of recruits — and high-profile game — he didn’t receive as much time with Chip Lindsey as he did for the Ole Miss game. Still, Lindsey took some time to talk with Curry and his family before the game.
- Auburn’s message to Curry: patience. They still want to get out to his high school to see him throw and evaluate him. The potential offer will come from there. Obviously, some of that is dependent on how the recruitments of Jarren Williams and Emory Jones play out.
- Ole Miss and Mississippi State are the two other big programs who are in communication and considering an offer.
- As an early enrollee who will sign in December (that’s the plan, for now), Curry isn’t in a rush, but he obviously needs to know some things from one of those programs somewhat soon.

- Clay Webb has been a regular visitor on the Plains for games this season. He said this was the most impressed he’d been by Auburn this season.
- Asked if Alabama is the team to beat, as many have speculated, Webb said that’s not the case. He really likes Auburn. It’ll be an Alabama-Auburn battle, though. That seems certain.
- As you might expect, Webb will be at the Iron Bowl.
REALLY hoping this turns out similar to Troxell's recruitment but I would be shocked if he doesn't pick Bama. Bo Nix could be our best chance
