We need to recruit Mike and Hunter to the ASB so they can post in this thread.

KN hinting some commitments could be coming this month. Mentioned Richard Jibunor, Michael Harris, Matthew Hill, Dylan Wonnum and zakoby McClain as names to watch. Thinks possibility AU commit list reaches double digits by August. Would love for any of those guys to jump on board

This would make me extremely happy. Wonnum would probably be the biggest surprise imo.

Late night post from Cb on Fields in the Bunker FWIW. Says after a convo he just had he's close to calling JF a lock to AU but won't for fear of Gus Gussing it up. He maintains FSU doesn't think they lead & says Chip is putting in work here. Also thinks JF will take his OVs before committing but will try to get more info on that.

Yea I feel confident but literally everyone else outside of AU seems to feel otherwise which makes me wonder.

When did we start stacking DL? That would go against our policy of only signing one DE per year.

Well we did have 5 stars pretty much across the DL last year.

Nick Coe, Big Cat, Moultry can all play end, as well as others.

PJIII, Davidson before, and I imagine I forgot someone.

Not hard to beat back your BS just off the top of my head.

A 3 deep at every position is 76% of our available scholarships.

But fine I'll restate this way- can't even name a 2 deep with naming two players that have never taken a snap for Auburn.

All CFB teams utilize freshmen, dip shite. You sign 25 new players every year and lose about the same. It's kind of unavoidable to build a team without somebody in the 2 deep having never taken a snap at your school.

You complain about this, but I bet you also complain if we don't utilize out highly ranked freshmen enough. Is there ever a time you don't find something to complain about?

Depends on how talented those two are. We are very talented up front, but will have to rely on FR to be rotational players. This is the same everywhere.

Keep in mind we started a true Freshman at DE last year and it turned out very well.

If theyre the best players then why not?
Marlon Davidson was a beast last year. At times arguably the best DL on the field.
And Derrick Brown was a beast and in the 2 deep as well.
You think it was stupid to play both of those guys?

We did the same thing in 2013 with Lawson and Adams.

If you have two true freshmen who are 5* beasts on the DL then you're stupid not to play both of them.

ETA:

And wtf does "in this conference" have to do with it? People who still act like the SEC is head and shoulders above the other P5 conference are the only "retarded" ones
