For 4-star running back Master Teague of Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Blackman, a commitment is likely to come this month.

Who will be his choice?

Well, right now Teague has a top three of Auburn, Georgia, and Tennessee. Additionally, Alabama and Ohio State are worth mentioning. Neither has offered yet, but if they do then it gets even more crowded at the top.

For now … “I think the three that we chose at the end of the day were best for me,” Teague said on Vsporto’s SEC Recruiting Buzz podcast.

As for Auburn, Teague has visited the Tigers multiple times this year.

“I think they’re a great program,” Teague said. “When I go there, I feel comfortable there. Feel like it’s a great atmosphere and a great culture. And I know all the coaching staff are great men it seems like to me. And it really is a place I can grow as a person. They really incorporate player development in their program and I think it’s a great place for a running back as well. I think they run the ball the most out of the three definitely."

Teague is high on Auburn running backs coach Tim Horton, who visited him twice this spring.

“It’s been building,” Teague said. “It’s been real good. I feel like I can talk freely and comfortable with him. I think he really cares and is really passionate about what he does. I think that is great. Track record is really nice for him as well.”

As for the Auburn offense?

“I think it’s on the rise,” Teague said.

Some think, as of now, Georgia is Auburn’s biggest threat.

"I think they are a great school for running backs and one that likes to not give the full load to just one back," Teague said. "I think their back situation might have the most competition. I am not afraid of competition, but I think that is one that has the most backs in there."

Bama was able to land that Tau kid despite Jalen Hurts being SEC OPOY as a FR. If we lose a legacy kid because we took another highly rated FR, our coaches suck at recruiting

totally agree on Master Teague. Especially since he's apparently gained some speed since last year. He doesn't look like a sub 4.4 guy on film, but he's now run low 4.3s at both the Bama and Ohio St. camps.

Would be a HUGE pickup to get him.
