Jeffrey Lee @JLeeAU21 · 21m 21 minutes ago 4-star LB Tre Threat had "phenomenal" visit to AU on Thursday. Decision could come sooner than later... LINK @t_threat36
quote:
"I got to sit down in the meetings and see how the meetings go," Threat said. "The meetings were phenomenal … the way the players communicate with the coaches and ask questions and the way the coaches respond."
Threat, 6-foot-1 and 230 pounds, then watched the Tigers' two-hour practice.
"It was phenomenal to see how the boys work," Threat said. "I got to learn a lot and see how the practice goes. It was a great experience to see all of that."
Threat kept his focus on the linebackers, but it was a coach that stood out to him.
"Coach (Will) Muschamp, his enthusiasm and his energy throughout the whole practice are what stood out," Threat said. "His focus and determination to coach the players, it was phenomenal.
"Every little mistake they made, he was on them and it was a quick fix. It was fixed right there on the spot. No hesitation. His players responded really fast."
Muschamp is a big reason Threat is high on Auburn. The entire staff is.
"I love it up (at Auburn) and the coaching staff is really phenomenal," he said. "I love the coaches. I love their attitude and charisma toward me and my family. They treat me like I'm at home. That shows a lot about them as people.
"Auburn is one of my favorites most definitely, and I'm really liking Alabama and I'm liking Ole Miss. Those are my top three favorites right now."
Threat plans to decide before his senior season begins.
"I'm a December grad so I am planning to make a decision in August," he said. "But if I like what I see I may commit earlier."
Rivals.com ranks Threat the No. 9 player in Alabama.

He's staying in AU for like 3 or 4 days. Preston Williams stayed in UT on a visit for 5+ days last fall.

How come we never have top prospects trending to us early on in the process. Hell everybody is already racking up. Even TN.
