Is Jamarcus King off the board since de-committing or is there a chance he jumps back on board?
Conflicting reports. AUC says he's off the board because the staff did not like the way he decommitted. AUR says he's still on the board.

Word is now he may not end up in the SEC at all. Grade issues.

mild interest at best. They like Stove much more plus they are set to get Nate & Sam Bruce.

McClain's highlights looked pretty damn impressive to me. That's what I base my opinion off of, I don't see these guys in camps

And highlights are exactly that. Only the best of kids. We don't get to see the all around film college coaches see.

NCM seems like a head case, honestly.

Not really. He's a 5* so his recruitment is over saturated w/ coverage. He, himself has been pretty low key through the entire process.

Decommitted on twitter and never talked to the staff about it.

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. I thought I remembered some drama from him, but you're right, could be because he's under a microscope.

He had academic problems that kept him out of Maryland, right?

You're a full weekend and a number of pages late bro. He just had his AU OV.

A guy on AUFamily posted the following:

quote:

Been watching this kid for a few weeks now. Looks good when he's got the ball but definitely takes the play off if he is not involved. On D, if the ball goes the other way he just stands and watches. Definitely hope he corrects this before he gets on campus.

Then one of the board "semi-insiders" (WarDamnEagleWDE) replied with the following:

quote:

Waste of a sholly IMO. Another camp warrior I'm afraid.

Considering everybody around Auburn's track record of evaluating recruits he'll probably be Auburn's first Biletnikoff winner

He had transcript issues and had to leave Maryland. They ended up getting worked out but too late to stay enrolled.

Don't see how someone on AUFamily would possibly know if he is a workout warrior considering he is from Maryland

They're talking about the WR commit from FL, Marquis McClain.

Wasn't AUFamily/AEagle the ones who fought for Jake Holland to be a 4* back in the day too?

No. It was the Bunker. Rivals is the site that had him a 3* til the last rating & Bunkerites were bitching about it daily before the 4* bump.
