He seems to do a lot of arm tackling and shying away from contact.
ETA: He almost missed several tackles on his highlights trying to throw them down from the side.
I will say, he's super athletic and can move. I'm just weary of guys that shy away from contact.

I would like to take this time to stop thinking about our recruiting class....and be thankful that we have not had 4 players arrested this week unlike LSU

the kid has good size and measurables but isnt a good tackler. He grabs at jerseys instead of decleating the ball carrier.

Apparently he gets off blocks very well. If true Boom can easily fix the tackling issues. He wowed Boom at camp yesterday so that's good enough for me.

He was constantly in trouble when he was at Central Gwinnett, and is why he wound up at Archer.
Has some academic issues now as well, and it would shock me if he were to qualify.

Why Is a 3 star more acceptable for an OL prospect but is a negative for a DL prospect? I could be wrong, but haven't there been 3 star DL's develop into top lineman?

So, in your opinion, Tubs and Boom were incompetent on the subject of defense and players for their defense?
