@DerekTysonESPN: Juco WR Taj Williams is planning to take official visits to #Auburn and #Bama in the fall and an unofficial visit to Florida in July.

ETA:
@DerekTysonESPN: Correction, JUCO WR Taj Williams will be taking his officials to #Auburn and #Bama this summer, not in the fall

So with our top targets at QB getting ever so closer to a decision, who would you take and where do you think they will go?
Neither Pass or Barret if I had a choice. I'm not sold on either 1. 1 will go to AU, the other to Bama.

Pass, but even if he does commit to us (or anyone) soon, his recruitment won't be over until his LOI is faxed and there's confirmation he only faxed 1 LOI

Not true even if he sends two, we just need to be the first to receive it

But yeah, I'll take Pass

I've heard from several people that Saban and Pruitt didn't end on good terms.

Didn't know that but makes sense. He ended his time at Hoover with bad blood as well. Rumor among the football players was that he and Probst both got caught screwing around with other coaches women causing multiple fist fights between coaches, including one between Pruitt and Probst himself.

Another reason I don't think he'd make a good HC, besides never being one before, every job he's had in the last decade he's been handed top talent to work with. Hoover HS, Bama, FSU, UGA.

I had heard something to this effect. If he has an issue keeping it in his pants, it would be OH SO BLESSED for the chickens to come home to roost while he is in Athens!!

Well, I think they're the best we can do, as of right now. Xavier Gaines maybe if we miss on both of them. I feel like Pass will end up at Bama and Woody picks us. I would imagine they both know we're signing 1 QB, unless something happens and it's first one that commits.

It seems we have the inside track with Taj Williams and he fits the bill to carry on the legacy we're creating of one great juco player after another. Our staff has been outstanding in that regard.

I had already graduated from Prattville years before he got there, but I couldn't stand Jamey Dubose. He would come in our restaurant and stiff people. There is a hot place in hell for lousy tippers...

As much as I don't like the guy I will give the Devil his due credit. He recruited a lot of top talent. Examplified by him kicking our tails in Georgia this year.

That is not concrete. FWIW BMatt thinks it's greater than 50% that we sign 2.

Unless there is new info or you have it, TCU is thought to be the favorite at the moment last I saw.

@BMattAU: 4-star WR Kyle Davis decommits from South Carolina. He's a top Auburn target LINK

@ChadSimmons_: Elite ATH Kyle Davis has decommitted from South Carolina. #Georgia and #Tennessee two definitely in the mix. @scoutrecruiting

Not really. You gave added info. Last time I checked about KD 2 weeks ago UGA was the team to beat. That still looks to be the case.

What is it with UGA and recruiting recently? I know they have always recruited well, but it has gone to a new level. I really thought with Gus, Craig, Garner, and now Muschamp we would have to turn kids away. Sure we lose a lot to bama, but now we seem to lose most head to head with uga, and even Tenn. Maybe I am to negative but it seems concerning.

I'll say what no one wants to acknowledge but Auburn will never be a school that turns kids away.

Bama slows down and another school takes their place when it comes to beating our arse in recruiting. It's cool though we still get five stars and highly coveted recruits, we just have to fight a hell of a lot harder.

Maybe after a few years of 10 win seasons to accompany the highs of SEC championships and natty appearance will make it easier. That is my interpretation of everything at least. Nega-tiger.
