Still no Thornton in the top 100. 60th on 247, 78th in the composite, 120th on Rivals.
Did not expect him to move. He did not do anything this summer. Also the composite is not automatically updated.

Other notes of interest. Ronnie Clark dropped from 51 to 59 and Rashaan Evans made a big jump from 163 to 95.

Fun Fact, if we keep Tre Williams, he will be the first Rivals 5* player from Alabama to sign with Auburn since Ben Obomanu

From Alabama I mean. That was a pretty important part to leave out

Yeah but Auburn is in Ga and we signed Tray Blackmon.

I didn't expect the composite to be adjusted for Thornton, just pointing out the discrepancy in his ranking between sites. Not sure if its big enough of a difference to even be noteworthy, but it caught my eye.

Also Evans moved up from the #8 OLB to #5.

No way do I believe we are going to sign two top 5 OLB from Alabama. We never do that

There aren't two top 5 OLBs from Alabama. Tre is the #2 ILB.

Tre Williams' reaction to earning five-stars? 'I have to work even harder. I have to live up to being a five-star.' LINK

already has been

Roc is still a 5*
Tre Williams' points went up but he's still a 4*. Slid up to #37 overall...now 2 spots away from a 5*.

It'll take one of the others, not Rivals, moving him up to the 30 or so range to probably put him in as a 5*. He's ridiculously ranked on Scout (no surprise) and ESPN. Anything over top 50 for him is ludicrous.

You have Rivals to thank for that. They do not share film or viewing privledges of the Rivals 5* challenge with the other recruiting services. That's where Tre surprised some by being the best cover LB.

Sean White, #181, "is clearly the best signal caller in the state of Florida and his new ranking reflects that."

The composite is not done on a rank. a 5* on there is .9835 and up. Tre jumped from .9808 to .9823 yesterday. Actually Scout is not the 1 lagging this time. They have his 2nd highest overall slot at 34th which will be a 5* when all is said and done on Scout. Either we will have to wait on Scout giving that 5th * in January or 247 will have to move Tre in the top 39 (46 now) or ESPN will have wake up and move him into the top 50 (78 now) for Tre to be a composite 5*.
