And what happens when they graduate? DW/Coates/Denson/Bray could all very well be gone after next year; Louis will be a Senior in '15. WR is a position of need very soon. Take who you can now, lest you start a bunch of true freshman/redshirt freshman.
Denson will not be gone if he gets the medical RS. Coates and DQ are expected to leave after next year. I will not say it's a position of need yet. It depends how Stevens, Walker, and Ray develop. Plus how Jason Smith develops when he gets here next winter. If none of them develop into a true #1 feature WR to give balance to our offensive force then yes we will need to get some WRs we project to be feature #1 WRs. Got to get quality, not just quantity.

I sam lucky that right now I know a couple people who actually know things but in a few years when I am not in Auburn and fall out of contact I will know nothing more than Rivals/247
Yea, I will actually be out of luck after this year. Sucks.

Anyways, I'm not an insider and have never pretended to be. Whenever I bring something from 247 or Rivals, I give credit to that source. I think we all do for the most part. The information I bring from someone I know comes directly from the Athletic Department. Access to recruits, players, and coaches is allowed and then the stuff is passed on to me (even though it is supposed to be hush-hush). Besides, I've only been able to bring info from a couple of recruits. 4, to be exact.

Next year, I will have to make sure I have access to 247 and Rivals still. I used to have access to ITAT, might still, but I never read anything on that site due to the crazies. AUFamily might even receive some more of my attention, I just won't post over there. Ellitor keeps everyone informed for the most part there.

Back in the Chizik days, when I was privy to information, I ran into this problem sometimes.

People like information but they don't want it shoved down their throat. Everytime someone posts new information on Evans, for example, someone is always coming right behind them with "my source says/still says this so don't believe anything else". That gets old in a hurry and it diminishes the quality of discussion in the thread.

Just my thoughts, I don't care what you guys do around here. Except for updating the thread with the number of posts in the thread, of course.
I understand what you are saying Jonesy but other than a couple of posts from Gene that could have used slightly better judgement I think most of this is coming from other posters calling attention to TT and Gene having info given they go through periods where they are not connected. JMO but I don't think their posts have been self serving look at me. I think the other posters joking about them having info distorts the reality of what they have said. Another thing is some are joking with TT and Gene and some are taking all that seriously for some unknown reason and thus they get irritated with those posts.

So... did we ever figure out who has the biggest dick between all the posters in the last 3 pages? Because a dick measuring contest is what it seemed like to me, not recruiting info!

Can we just drop it now? No point in arguing about it. They're going to post what they want to post and people are going to complain about what they want to complain about. Arguing about who's right and who's wrong won't do anything.

I can't really follow what you're saying here for some reason. You start out addressing me then you move sharply to things I never touched on.

Anyways, I don't see the big deal. Just trying to smooth things out as usual over here.

You have already said you have a difficult time discerning posts and what they mean. You share the recruiting info and leave the bitching and being an a-hole to me...

Oh and ellitor I am not being serious except for me being a bitching a-hole.

Did Ruffin get an official height at the Army AA game? Listed heights on recruiting services are rarely accurate.
Yes and 247 updated it on his profile at 6' 0.5 since they sponsor the Army Bowl

Tre Williams should be a big asset even as a freshman, and Truitt is the steal of the class.

I agree with you on Truitt, I think he is going to do special things for Auburn football.

And now, back to your regularly scheduled recruiting thread.

Agreed both will be huge. Even though we had some great classes with Chizik, I feel like this is the first year we are getting the majority of our #1 targets. Granted I have only followed recruiting for about 5ish years.

Chizik's problem was enormous amounts of attrition. It's pretty amazing the number of players from the 2013 class that got to contribute in their first year.

Everyone agree with this? Where do you see Evans fitting in? He's obviously a stud but with Therezie and Garrett at star would he see playing time early?
