Hoke said Auburn doesn't believe Foster leaving early is a huge deal, and thinks we still have a chance to sign him. Also said they don't believe any situation made him leave last night.
-Leaves his official visit mid-visit.
-On the biggest recruiting weekend of the year.
-Goes to Tuscaloosa.
-Embarrasses Auburn.
Sorry, Hoke. It's a pretty big fricking deal.

Is Auburn really embarrassed or are you?

Yeah, wouldn't think this would need to be said?

Whatever happened to Jovon Robinson? I knew they suspected the HS for tampering with his transcripts but is he still at Auburn? Will he see any playing time next year? Kid has looked good and I want to see what he can do.

Dude, have you been trekking in the outback? Jovon hasn't been in Auburn since the beginning of last years football season. He is in limbo the last I heard. Not even attending Juco or prep unless someone has heard different?

Yeah that's what I figured. I only started following recruiting seriously about 4 months ago. I regret that decision too

You probably actually did yourself a favor. Don't worry the 2014 AU recruiting thread just started up. You get to be a part of the NSD and the 2013 journey to the next AU recruiting class of 2014. Welcome

You are right though...ppl with power and influence do make rules but I dont think Saban has it or spec targets Auburn.
I dont think Saban pay Auburn any real attention...we are prob not a threat to him.

I was watching the replay of the Iron Bowl on CBS and (thanks to a tip from The Zone), I heard this tidbit from sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson: "Up 29-0, Nick Saban came over to his offense on the bench and screamed the loudest I've ever heard him scream at his players, 'Don't you know how much I hate these guys?' "

tinfoil how? He may not have told her he was leaving and just went up there. Why else would he "get angry" and storm out due to a racial fight with a player and his mom have no worries and keep hanging out with the coaches? I would think that at this point he and his mom probably weren't hanging out with each other during the afternoon anyway since both have been around the complex so much and the campus so much. Not far fetched at all to think she might not have known that he left until a few hours later when he was up there already.
Coming from a long time single father, responsible single fathers don't bug-out on their children for the night without telling anybody where they're going and how long they'll be there.

I can personally back you up on this one beat.

Not that it matters, but could easily be a situation where Rubens mom takes primary care of the kid such that Reuben comes and goes like any other hs senior.
