I use to check AE regularly and then compare it

There really isn't much recruiting news right now. Everyone is focused on the season.

What has happened to the rant anyway? It seemed like it got better once all the ATPB stuff died down, but now it's going back to that type of posts again. I'm not sure I understand the amount of crappy new posters.

All the crappy posters have been in hiding and decided to come out since the season started and their teams won. When some other teams lose a game or two it will die down some.

I really think our 2010 championship has had a big impact negatively on the rant. People jealous, think they are better than us, hate us, think we are cheaters, no respect...etc. It won't die down much until we start beating some arse TBH. Hopefully that starts this weekend.

Is it as good as it once was? No. Is it as bad as everyone's making it out to be? Debatable. I honestly don't think it's any worse than when ATPB was around.
There's still lots of good discussion, but some people try to derail the good discussions into stupid arguments over grammar/flames/etc. It happens. But I think that the board is still a good place to go. Some people just can't help but click on the obvious flame threads.
Stuff like this is expected when a board becomes bigger. It's bound to happen. So be it. I say embrace change. Plus, you never know, some of the change could be for the better.

Ahh the drunk bus. An AU tradition. Nothing like having to call ten times to get a ride from the library.

Honestly I think it's just cyclical. It was Richt and Georgia for a while, then LSU and Miles for a while. Now it's Chizik and us, they'll move after while. I don't think the retardness was as bad for those other two schools but it's similar. People just like to gang up on what they think is an easy target.

On a recruiting note I don't have a good feeling about M. Adams. I believe the lost to Clem hurt us with him, just a feeling.
