I'm not sure he can at the moment.

I agree with your premise, but he is too early in a high dollar contract that demands that he plays.

I'm wondering if the injury from last year is somehow lingering. Possibly affecting his swing speed.

I'm eyeballing the hitting coach. He hasn't impressed since his arrival last year.

I get the contract issue. I’m just thinking a few days to try and work on things or to stop working on things and just relax.

It’s one thing to lose power. It’s quite another to not be able to even make contact.

He’s on pace for top 20 all time in strikeouts. Maybe more since his recent form is worse than early on.

The whole lineup stinks. Olson Ks a lot but at least he hits HRs.

I dunno. Just frustrated and if I’m the GM I’m not trading the future for this year because the bats aren’t going to carry the team in the playoffs.
