Hated on him as much as anyone. Helluva game going over 400 yards.

Ryan > Schaub > Bosher > Bryant > Wile > Simms

I dont think any rational Falcons fan would tell you that quarterback is the problem with this team. Was it the Arizona game where Ryan was the first QB ever to throw for 300 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT, and 80% in a losing effort?
I hope Schaub starts the rest of the season though. Better chance of a top three pick and defense altering player in Chase Young.

Unfortunately, we have a lot of irrational fans.
Team needs, in order:
(1) New coaching staff. Looking for - bright offensive mind to unlock our embarrassment of weapons. Shanhahan has the 49ers at 7-0 with a skill group that is a solid notch below ours. Julio, Ridley, Hooper as your XYZ is tops in the league. Defensive coordinator who is hungry and relies on both a complex scheme, and skill
(2) A lot of defense starting with: (1) Edge rusher. (2) interior lineman. (3) Outside linebackers. (4) Corner. There are a handful of players who should be back next year on defense:
- Grady
- DeBo
- Rico
- Neal
- Sheffield
- Cominsky
- Takk
List ends there.
(3) Offensive line depth: I don't think people realize how good of a job we did in the last draft. Lindstrom and McGary are dogs. They are absolute killers. But you can never have enough of these guys. I'd keep Alex Mack one more year - he needs to be there to QB these young guys, like McClure.
(4) Special Teams: Coach and kicker. It's been a while since we've had to do this, but, it looks like kicker is gonna be a need.

It just goes to show you that you don't need a quarterback with a Super Bowl winning salary (who hasn't won a superbowl) to put up big numbers against a good team. I'm sure thats why Julio was such a bitch about money last year.

Schaub had a lot of dead empty yards and at least one pass that absolutely should have been an INT. QBs earn their money through consistency.
