Could have posted on travel board but I’d appreciate the input of sports people.

Will be in ATL for the first time seeing the braves with the girlfriend for the weekend. I’ve got about 6 hours to kill before her flight lands tomorrow.

What are some suggestions on what to see and do on a Friday morning? Will likely head to a brew house after lunch. TIA

What are you in the mood to do? Get outside/hike? Go see a 'site'? Give us some context and can make a recommendation.

Swingin Richard's is a popular hangout for the UGA contingent.

The airport is south of downtown and the stadium is north of downtown, so don't venture too far north. Head to midtown and get a perspective on the size of the Atlanta metro and then head back south to the airport.

Some place that I like that are all near each other:

Porter Beer Bar
Wrecking Bar Brewpub
Fox Brothers BBQ

Ponce City Market which includes Hop City and tons of food options
