I see this thread is only on page 3. thought it'd be up to 28 by now for sure.

Pretty good reason

people move to New Orleans

If you've looked at growth, I'd say not really. Very few people want to move there.

That said, I'd rather visit NOLA than ATL.

I've said it before, Atlanta is a nice place to live but I wouldn't want to visit.

I always chuckle at this comment that people make. Isn't that precisely the point of living somewhere and going on vacation? You live where it's great to live, and you travel to places that are great to visit.

People always say this like they are making some sort of profound statement when in reality they are just stating common sense.

we are more focused on playoff baseball. this thread is worth a comment or two, but after that it's boring.

It is common sense.
I meant no profound statement.
Your assumptions are quite overplayed, and your oversensitivity for all things Atlanta is a shame.

I'm not talking about Atlanta, I'm talking about in general when people (either on message boards or in real life conversations) talk about cities/states. Sounds like your assumption about my assumption was incorrect.

I couldn't give two shits about whether someone likes Atlanta or not.

Atlanta's civil war history : it got burned.

Sheesh. Not even remotely close to factual but since you just wanna throw barbs... you sure you wanna talk about disasters to a city? I think you'll lose this one...

Delta started in Kenner, La. only moved because business climate was better in ATl no hands to grease.

So... they left New Orleans for a better city?

I'll agree to this, but Atlanta has no soul it unoriginal. Atlanta is a city of transplants looking for an identity to no avail.

The Saints are barely 1-1. They lost to the Bucs and should've lost to the Browns.

Never forget that they traded away future draft picks for a no-name poet.
