Ignoring Louisianans for the time being - pretty excited to get going in a couple of weeks.

I know we aren't going to have any starters in the HOF game, but I am interested to see what a few of our younger guys on the offensive and defensive line look like. Hopefully that kid out of Charleston Southern plays like people think he can.

I have almost no doubt we will be a top-5 offense. It's my hope we can stay in the middle of the pack defensively, and become really opportunistic in the turnover department. Yes, Desmond Trufant, that means actually catching the balls that hit your hands.

Just taking a jab at you.

I have the perception that a big part of your population are transplants.

I would think y’all are natives to be posting here and being loyal fans.

It is. That's why some Falcons home games feel like neutral site games. I'm not from Atlanta, but I am from Georgia and grew up watching Falcons games. I've moved a few times since then and kept my fandom.

Maybe it's just me but it feels like there are far less training camp days open to the public

You have hate for gays?

Looks like y’all beefed up your OL that was desperately needed.

If those pieces fall in place, the Falcons should have a top notch offense again.

The question remains weather y’all can stop other top notch offenses.

Then you have to get over the choking issues.

Should be a good season.
I still think The Saints will win the division.

Nice.

On a separate note I’m still waiting to see what they do with Julio’s contract.

Think I saw 42 or so was guaranteed... Haven't looked to see structure yet but that seems reasonable on the surface.

I think you are right. Falcons are near the bottom half of the league in open practices according to pro football talk.

Julio is next followed by Neal. Campbell and Sanu will be elsewhere next year, unfortunately.

Having Jarrett, Deion, and Neal locked up will be big for this franchise. That's an elite player at every level of the defense.

Deion's deal: 4 year extension, $57 million with an $11 million signing bonus and $25.8 million guaranteed. I haven't seen anything about what the cap hits and dead money will be, but I'm sure spotrac will update as soon as it's known.
