If he's unusable today and there's a chance we need long relief help, then it's a good move. I would be willing to bet that Phillips doesn't fly to wherever Gwinnett is right now and gets called back up in a day or two.

Braves left them loaded in the first. But in the bottom half, Julio struck out the side.

Braves can't get anything going offensively, and Julio gave up 4 so far.. but the worst thing was seeing Freddie get hurt by that pitcher hitting him and leaving the game.

Too bad it's at an AL team's park or you could throw at him. The pitcher would have to decide himself, Snitker wouldn't allow it he just stands for hurting his own pitchers.

If he hits someone else they could just do what Otis nixon would do and charge. Probably was an accident because they said he hits the most batters of all their pitchers, but at least he'd learn the batters don't like it.

Not long til the strikeout crazy Touki toussaint finds his way to ATL? He just got promoted to Gwinnett today and is starting tomorrow night.

I think you could see Touki join us in September as a bullpen piece. He could be a big addition at that time. I don't see him joining the rotation this year, but he could make a run at it next season.

Anybody else watching? Kelsey was interviewing Acuna and Albies at the same time and Ozzie was translating for him. I knew he hit from 2 different directions but not speaking 2 languages that well. What a genius.

Been watching since Braves live came on and have heard 'last day to vote for Ozzie in the all star game' about a million times. Since it ends at midnight, we just have til Sunday night to wait. Then after that all star show on Espn they let us go... online again to vote for a final player from each league. Then who do you think the Braves will be promoting us to vote for as much as Ozzie right now (cause his race is the closest) . Could be Kurt, Acuna, Ender... who knows?
by the way, Ender got hit by a pitch, then Ozzie got a triple! 1 nothing Braves with Freddie up.

The Braves are still losing 4 to 2 in the 7th. Fried had a rough night but Carle pitched nicely in relief.
