I am one of the few who liked Baze I guess. I know his contract was ridiculous, but I enjoyed having him.

That offensive efficiency graphic with/without Baze was pretty eye popping...

Traded for an equally bad contract. This trade is confusing.

I agree, but I am all aboard the "in schlenk we trust" express. I'll just have to assume that there is a specific reason for this deal.

Indeed, it is equally bad. But, like Bazemore's, it expires after this season. Net zero in terms of the overall plan.

We needed a backup point guard in the worst way (I believe Adams was our #2). This satisfies that need.

It also frees up our wing rotation a good bit, allowing for Reddish and Hunter to get on the floor more.

I think it's been said on this board before, but #TITS. (Trust in Travis Schlenk).

I’ll miss Baze. I don’t get the hate for him.

I honestly think Bazemore will be back the following season, on a more realistic and team friendly contract. He is maintaining his residence here. He really wanted to end his career here.

I think people love Baze, but not at 18 million. Don’t hate him for grabbing the money - but he isn’t worth that much. I think even he knows that.
