I am totally disgusted this season by the 2nd half effort from the hawks, that third period was shameful tonight against the warriors and it was the difference.

With the players and staff on this team a 4-7 record is inexcusable.

Agreed. I don't understand why Nate platoons the bench without keep some starters in.

The schedule the 1st quarter of the season is about as brutal as you'll get out of the gate, so there is some leeway, but they need to turn it around. Fast.

Lone bright spot: John Collins. Best player on the Hawks right now.

The full bench units are killer. Glad Nate finally played Delon over Lou Will. It'll get better, but it's been an awful start so far, especially after the opening night blowout against the Mavs. Also, the refs have overcompensated on calls against Trae. He's getting killed now and they won't call anything.

I agree with the Trae fouls, they shouldn’t have changed that in allowing one to get mugged at the three point line this season.

Okay, and the Hawks are back in Utah tonight. A Utah who totally embarrassed us (the team) the other night.

I don’t care if we lose or not we must play hard in all 4 quarters and not get blown out in one.

That’s where I am…

If you take away opening night, the Hawks are dead last in the league in defensive efficiency. 27th counting the first game.

This was always going to be a tough stretch of games. Have a really good shot to go on a bit of a streak when we get back home if we handle business.

Miserable early season stretch but I'd like to get a win or 2 out of it.

Hell we should. We were 2 games from the Finals last year, and it wasn't a fluke.

It’s just tough watching these Hawks either win three periods or play near even only to get blown out in one. Last night the second period in the first half was full clown.

That was the difference.

One more away game at hapless Denver, can they get it together and pull out a win after some needed rest? It would be nice for the fans to see a win stretch start here.

The great bird asked us not to have year long or ongoing threads.

You've put the whole board in jeopardy!

We ask that you kindly remove the word "ongoing" from the title.

Happy to see some Hawks discussion! Just don't want to get axed.
