Trae like Lebron will be calling the shots on what and who he wants around him as this is the NBA today most likely and he’s tight with JC.

The two are not the same. It’s pretty obvious Ressler empowers Schlenk to the fullest, and frankly, he’s the best front-office guy Atlanta has seen in decades.

Derrick Martel Rose

Really? So you think an oft-injured, 32 yo PG is the answer to all the Hawks woes?

Nah, baw. They need a backup PG who can run the offense efficiently while Trae is on the bench but Rose ain't the answer. This is where Beal comes in. He can run the floor, is a 2, and can be the real Robin to Trae's Batman. And they can still get a backup PG.

They also need another presence in the post.

The Wizards would capitalize on Beal’s trade value before having to be faced with the scenario of paying him 35% of the salary cap. It’s rarely worth paying a player that kind of money and Beal, as talented as he may be, certainly does not fit into that elite category.

As far as a return is concerned, Washington would receive Bogdan Bogdanovic, De’Andre Hunter, and Onyeka Okongwu in terms of the players involved. This would result in a reduction of $2.6 million in salary cap spending for 2021-22 without accounting for the contract of draft selections.

Naa, he's not worth that price.

Collin Sexton could be a viable backup plan if they can't get Beal or Lillard.

CJ McCollum seems like the ideal fit though.

I want Beal here as much as anyone, but not w/that.

Schlenk should be fired if that deal went down.

Nah frick that. Bogdan is a good shooter, Hunter can shoot and defend really well, and Okongwu showed his potential against the Bucks.
