SWEEP THE DAMN LEG BOYS!

Here's all the scenarios we're we move on:
1) We win outright. 1-0, 2-1, 44-0. Just win.
2) Win with a tie. 0-0, 1-1, 2-2, ATL still advances.

Here's what can't happen:
3) Lose big. 3-1 or even anything where they score 2+ goals.

I think the ATL crowd is going to be INTENSE Sunday. Absolutely bat shite bananas and I think ATL UTD advance with a 1-0 win.
Let's go 5-stripes!!!

I'll be there. Not a huge soccer fan but a sucker for playoff environments.

Dunno if you've been to a game or not but I drove up from New Orleans to ATL to see my family and we went to a game on a Sunday. The crowd was intense before and during the game. Reminded me a lot of a big matchup college football game.

It was intense and a ton of fun. I can only imagine Sunday's game will be as good of an atmosphere or better since the stakes are higher. I'm envious of you.

The only game I've been to was the playoff game last year. What a disaster lol. Maybe I shouldn't go.

I've made it to 3 games this season (Montreal, Toronto, Chicago). Hate I can't make it to this one.

IIRC, they actually played pretty well. Steffen was just incredible and they couldn't beat him.

I'll be there as well.

Wish ATL would have gotten that second goal in NYCFC for good measure and some cushion but a win is a win up there.

With just a 1 goal differential right now NYCFC doesn't have to come out ultra aggressive, but they are not going to be able to just sit back all game either knowing that they have to get a win and draw is like a loss. If Atlanta can get one early, NYCFC is going to have to start going for broke which should make for an exciting match and hopefully a lot of opportunities for Atlanta on the counter.

I am firmly convinced that my girlfriend is ATL UTD’s lucky charm, we are 3-0 when she is in the building (including tonight).

yeah it was. the place went nuts before the penalty kick in the first half. what an environment.

Between that game and being in the building to see Tech finally beat Mark Richt in Atlanta, it was a pretty solid weekend for me.

they only lost 2 home matches all year LOL. But now that you've called out her lucky nature, you've just screwed us for her next appearance at the Benz.

I didn't count the US Cup loss though. So I guess that's technically 3 losses with the 4 ties as well.
