That they show that Vikings play 47 times tonight and reference it over and over? After what Atlanta just dealt with for a year, hope NO eats some karma.

If the Vikes somehow win it all, that play will become immortal. If they don't, it'll fade away in a couple weeks.

It’ll remain tied to the vikes. Every time they make the playoffs they’ll show it for sure.

I hate the Eagles (partly because of that smug bastard John Kincade), but I'm getting a bit of satisfaction out of their dismantling of the Vikings so far. Call it validation, call it me being a dumbass for applying the transitive property to football, whatever.

Yea, looks like ATL is a good team after all. We hung tough with the eagles.

I could argue that if Keanu doesn’t miss that pick before half that they can’t kick the FG and we can kick the FG at the end for the win. But hey, it’s the way it falls sometimes.

ATL was always a good team...arguably the most "talented" team in the league. They were just extremely undisciplined and underachieving. Unfortunately, I didn't lose an ounce of sleep last Saturday because you knew it was coming. I was numb to it.

I mean, that's just dumb coming off a 10-6 record and a playoff win. It was a season with a lot of struggles and they were still good.

Hey DD...
The Vikes getting beat like they did will make that replay go away.
It’s meaningless now.
Unfortunately I think Falcons fans are about to get a heavy dose of the greatest choke in the history of the Super Bowl from the national media....not Saints fans!

The Vikes don’t even want to see that replay anymore...
It will just remind them of what happened in the next game.

I doubt that. If I were a Vikes fan I'd be disappointed we didn't make the Super Bowl but you're kidding yourself if you don't think that play isn't gonna get played again if the vikes make the playoffs again say next year or in 5 years.

I think it will be replayed in Vikings land, but outside of that no one cares anymore. You have to convert those plays into championships for them to be really special. just my opinion.

The Steelers lost in the AFC championship after the Immaculate Reception in the Divisional Round, but good try!

The Steelers history is a bit different from the Vikings, but ok.

All this play represents to Vikings fans now is another chance they were given and they blew it. If they go on to win multiple super bowls in the next few years like Pitt did I’m sure that will change.

A) No. That play got them to the NFC Championship game. It was an amazing play that will go down in Playoff history.
B) What's happening here is Saints fans saying something a lot that they WANT to happen. If they say it doesn't matter anymore, it's them convincing themselves it doesn't to help ease the pain.

Sorry guys. It happened.
Falcons could have lost the Super Bowl with a 28-3 lead or lost 34-7 and never have been in the game, a loss is a loss.

Ok, but I think you’re going to see some Falcon highlights leading up to the Super Bowl. :)

How cool would it be if the Saints won our 2nd Super Bowl in Atlanta next year!

A.) yes amazing play, no doubt.

B.) what’s going to happen doesn’t change how I feel about that play as a saints fan. The play could never be shown again and it won’t take away what happened.

Having said that, the play just doesnt mean the same to Vikings fans anymore (no matter how many times they replay it). You can deny all you want, it doesn’t make it so.

That is literally untrue and no way you could make that generalization.

I am a huge Vikings fan (live in Atlanta), and it is the greatest play in franchise history and my favorite Vikings game ever.

It will always be revenge from 2009.
