Folty needs to be taken out when he’s doing well. When he does bad he throws a fit and loses himself.

and now Snit takes him out after giving up 3 runs when he had a great night. Folty is the type of guy that will carry those last bad pitches with him and let it ruin his next start.

At this juncture I feel like it is appropriate to post this again.

I hope he can keep his shite together. He has good stuff. I’m pretty sure he is arbitration eligible this year. I don’t know that I could trust him enough to offer a long term deal once the arbitration years are done.

He's the polar opposite of Soroka.

With Gausman gone, Newk stuck in the pen, and Touki sucking there isn't much choice unless we're cool with losing in the NLDS again.

This is why trading for relievers or signing them for big money is risky. Very little consistency.

While I agree, it was the area of the team that needed to be improved and aside from taking on taking on Melancon's salary, the organization only gave up 1 top 10 prospect (at least one place had Wentz ranked at 11th in their mid-season rankings) for 3 relievers that statistically were better than anything else we had in the pen.

Maybe Kolby Allard or Joey Wentz are the second coming of Adam Wainwright, and maybe Demeritte becomes something special for Detroit, but unlike some previous trades in the Braves history ***cough***Mark Teixeira from Texas***cough*** I like the moves made as evaluated right now.

Allard is starting for the Rangers against the Brewers on Friday.

We had to do something. Still believe they’ll settle down and become more consistent.

Switching gears, Freddie is now second in the MLB in RBI’s with 91.

Soroka has the third best ERA in the MLB at 2.45, behind Ryu and Scherzer.
