Peralta hit a homer against the phillies they have a 7-3 lead, in case the Braves can pull off a miracle win with Gausman and the d'backs keep it up the Braves could end the night tied for 1st.

That was a weird exchange with Donaldson and their pitcher...it was almost like Josh was just in a bad mood about something else.

Keuchel had a consistently pitched game in Rome against A guys. 7.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 9 SO 77 pitches, 55 strikes

Ronald hit a grand slam in the 2nd... Markakis got an RBI too 5-1 Braves

No lead safe with Gausman gives up a 3 run homer an inning after Ronald's and got yanked. Must be the best the Braves can put out there til Dallas throws another game or 2.

lol...this is great.
as a frame of reference, last year, we were 0.5 games back on June 10, went 0.5 ahead on June 11, and held it until mid July where ended up going down to about 2.5 GB. Recovered and then took the lead again in mid August to hold on for the rest of the year. It was a damn good race all year until about mid September when we took off.
