I bet marcus miller goes to O line. So really its 8-4 (really 5 because we are not accepting either of the 2 juco kids who have officially visited unless they are a mid term guy)

But by all means keep bitching about the best class we have ever signed.

Definitely by design. With as fast as we will score (Plan to score) and play in the future, the only way to win the more difficult games is to have fresh D legs.

Chavis so stated this, that he has learned and adapting...

Look, I understand and was so dang pissed yesterday... still am, we look pathetic. But... If he keeps the class together, big if.. .I will be on board again.

No way he goes anywhere yet anyways. No choice really for me, as a fan!

Not bitching dude, just asking a question.

I just don't get the idea behind recruiting DL and cross training or moving them to OL, if that's in fact what Chadillac is doing.

We have had classes that were better than 10th in the sec, several times in fact.

The best class signed during the recruiting rankings era has been and will remain after this class, the DMAC class.

This class according to rivals is better than 10th in the SEC.

No it isn't.

Petrino has the top class ever signed in the recruiting ranking era(16th). The 2005 class that included Darren McFadden was ranked 24th in the nation and 8th in the SEC, with a 3 star average rating.

Rivals is the only legitimate source for historical recruiting rankings. 247 wasn't around and scout is trash and has been.

Currently this class sits 12th in the nation and 6th in the SEC, with a 3.43 star average rating.

2019 Class #12 in Nation

2009 Class #16 in Nation

2005 Class #24 in Nation

It should also be noted that in today's SEC, the 2005 class would have been ranked 9th in the SEC. It is also an Alabama without Nick Saban recruiting.

I don't think that is what they are doing. I think we end up bringing in about 3 JUCO OL guys.

The depth is horrible and I think we all know that. It isn't of Chad's doing, but he has to correct it. I think we will end up with a hefty number of OL by the end of the class. The key is going to be the JUCO guys being able to enroll at semester.

More than just pure depth, we need competition on the OL right now. We need someone pushing the others to get better each day at practice. That really can't happen because we are so thin.

Since we are using rivals, now, go look up there rerankings for that class based on actual results and contributions from the classes, that class was reranked in the top 5 nationally actually number 4 iirc for that year.

How does that even remotely apply when talking about a recruiting class that hasn't played a down of college football yet? If anything all you're proving is that Arkansas having an even higher ranked class this year provides opportunity for even bigger success than the 2005 class.

Why use rerankings when we are talking about incoming classes?

Point is this is the best recruiting class on paper, Arkansas has ever had. Not 2005 and not 2009.

You sure move the goalposts a lot for someone who tries to act of intellect at times.

It's simple, that class was filled with game changers and NFL level talent. So much to the point that they put a roster that had terrible QB play a muffed punt from winning the sec that season. This team also suffered injuries to key players during the season, yet this class was still able to get that team to the sec championship game.

So the argument you would have to make is the same type of talent is within this year's class if it stays together, there isn't.
