Also, most of those projections are just assumptions based off the season ending at this current moment.

The 10 seed and 52% you are referring is based on a site that does projection.

And 3 weeks ago we were a 7 or 8 seed with about an 80% chance. We are dropping like a rock.

Wasn't 80% but no one is disputing us drop. Just disputing that Most remark which wasn't true.

Not yet I guess. Hope I'm wrong but I see SCe putting it on us. They have that potential. I would feel really good if we beat them soundly.

Well we won so I feel pretty good. We are still a bubble team but hopefully we can build on this.

Real-time RPI projects a 19-12 record with (8-10) conference record, which basically means we win the rest at home and lose all in the road. ESPN projects a 10-8 conference record, which ends up a 21-10 overall. A lot of the early season wins haven’t looked as good as the season has gone on. OU and Tennessee are the best wins so far. Minnesota has fallen hard (14-11 and 3-9 in conference). We have to win the rest of our home games and steal one or two on the road (Ole Miss seems the most likely to steal). I think if we end up at 0.500 in conference we are safely in. If we are less than 0.500, we need a good tourney showing to make it in.

If we win the rest at home and lose out on the road it would be 9-9. They have us losing one home game.

Probably Auburn would be my guess or Kentucky.

It appears the majority of the predictions have us finishing 9-9 as of right now.

Early on I thought this team was good enough to make a long run in March, but looking back at our schedule, it looks like we have beaten the teams we were supposed to beat and lost to the teams we were supposed to lose to. The best wins we have are OU at a neutral site and Tennessee at home.

I think the loss of Kingsley and Hannahs has been more of an impact than anticipated. Gafford is still very solid and has somewhat replaced Kingsley, but CJ Jones hasn’t really stepped up and replaced Hannahs impact on the game. His shot is still too tentative and streaky. Plus, our FT shooting has plummeted without Hannahs and Kingsley boosting those percentages.
