First of all, I don't believe this bullshite for one second. But I am curious about the folks that believe this and also want to see Gus here as our coach.
You guys realize that Auburn has one of the best defenses in all of college football right? Where would Gus be without his defense? Cuz remember, he ain't gonna get one here.

I don't want average. I want to see a championship program and I just don't think Gus can do it.

well shite in one hand wish in the other and see what fills up faster. let's be realistic for a second folks we are not a championship caliber football program. we have a punchers chance at best when everything works out in our favor.
I want to see us back to 8-10 wins consistently. that would make me happy and probably work Norvell into all time winningest coach here.

I believe we can get good recruits on the line and some linebackers as well. Defensive backs seem to be a little harder and depth is our issue. We can get a solid first string of playmakers but getting enough for them to have quality backups seems difficult for us.

What? I would go Agim, Harris and Greenlaw.
I really thought our DBs would be better this year, but losing Pulley was a major blow. If Montaric Brown lives up to his billing that will be a significant talent upgrade over Liddell/Coley next year. Then we'll have Pulley, Curl and Calloway back at CB.

I agree as of this year with having a couple good DB’s, but I’m talking in general over the past few years.

Our safeties must be addressed in recruiting paper thin at that position that lacks productivity outside Santos who plays more like OLB.
