You’re correct. Also, Tinks has station, which became Jeremy’s and now it’s called Smittys. Smittys also bought out Davidsons Grocery.

Yes but maybe I was talking to an LSU fan on this board about it. Seemed like he worked there or maybe used the facility as part of the FFA vo ag program.

Don’t forget about the Junior Mart across from the post office that’s now defunct and rotting down. They had the best fountain drinks there.

Hell we need to just have a get together at Bubba Brews in Hot Springs it sounds like lol

When i was a kid staying with grandma, I would ride dirt bike down Texas street and go get bottled mountain dew from Daytons bait shop in the town circle. Good times

If you’re talking to me, i know a lot. Mom’s side of the family is from amity. Mom was born on highway 346, that’s the road that goes to cox creek and amity landing. Of course, my mom and her siblings went to Amity High School.

We probably know same people or possibly related.

At the corner of Texas St and hwy 8 their is an old house built out of rocks. That was my great great grandmother's house they built when they decided to move to "town".

Crazy how small the world is. My grandparents lived behind Mr East’s nursery. I spent a lot of time there, especially in the summers. My grandpa would take me to the Caddo fishing and occasionally over in Tinks pond behind his old house. And my friends would all get together and play ball in the old Amity gym. Good times for sure.

I definitely have. I’m not positive but I think my grandmother probably worked at Ermas. I know she worked at some cafe in Amity.

I spent about half of every summer growing up in Amity. I’m 37 and my grandmother is 91 and still hanging in there

If you’re asking me then yes. First name.

ETA: just saw your post about the Wilsons: Were you related to Crawford or Mary? I wouldn’t be surprised since they’re related to everybody lol
