Will suck for all the programs in Arkansas if they do. Adding another D1 program certainly hurts State, but it also would hurt all of the DII programs.

Im all for UALR getting a football program though. Would be an instant in state rivalry with UCA and they could play in WMS and take the heat off of the UofA.

Arkansas State is fine and will be fine, adding another in-state program will only drive competition.

Nothing but positives for State and UCA.

The only negative I can see is that it will make a 'tiny' impact on corporate donations to some of our Universities, including U in A at Fayetteville

I'm all for it if it can be used as some type of feeder program to the UA. Maybe something similar to what Villanova has.
