re: This loss was a coaching problem, pure and simple

For what it's worth... yes I am a coach.
I stated I didn't agree with the punt on 4th down. But they pay Chad Morris a LOT more money than I make to make that call. By the odds he made the right call.
I'm saying that jumping to conclusions about this staff after two games is just plain nuts.
Lets not forget Saban lost to ULM AT HOME in his first year at Bama....
I think it worked out ok for them to keep him around.

Lol. Morris is no Saban. Morris will probably do something that not even Bert and Nuttsack did in their tenures here. He will probably lose to 3 G5 opponents in one season, the other two being UNT and Tulsa. They are both better than CSU.

Yes it did... But me questioning the coaching decisions in that game doesn't make me or anyone a "Bad Fan".
I purchase tix, attend functions, donate, go to several games.
Dude....
also, Arksulli from the other thread.
Agree...
I do NOT want him fired, but I do hope as we all should, that he learns from that mistake. Whatever man, good luck with your team this season and WPS!

from Rockee
"I normally follow this logic and still do to a certain degree but 100% that loss was on the coaches. Normally when a coach fails in the first year you can point lack of talent among some other tings. It was very clear throughout the game which team was much more talented and it wasn't the winner. "
Not much different that my thoughts at the heart of it.

Well maybe so but that loss was just such a bad look and we're battered from the past several years which only makes it worse.
I guess what I'm saying is I totally understand the range of emotions on the situation especially this soon after.

You know, people think that it is ridiculous the "Range of Emotions" that fans have. The Joy/Anger, Adulation/Resentment. But it is those exact things that has created an environment of 3 million plus paid coaches. Comes with the territory.

Yup, exactly.
To be perfectly honest, I am a little leery of the fact that he's trotting off to his son's games on Friday nights. And really that means he's a good dad so halfway thinking there's something wrong with a coach doing that really makes me feel like an a-hole. So, again, I fully understand the range of emotions.

I understand the range of emotions, I was pissed off as well. What I don’t understand is the need to throw temper tantrums on message boards and start making personal attacks on the coach after his second game. SECOND GAME! The man hasn’t been here for a year, hasn’t had time to implement half his playbook, and has to use players that,by record, the worst coach in UA history recruited.
Most of these people making personal attacks are probably fat asses that have to lick the Cheeto dust off their fingers before they can type a message

Ahem, give me a min.... I must lick my Cheeto thumb before..... ummm
Boy that is good... Replying.
OK, all ready: If me saying that he made some terrible coaching decisions, and being tired of clichés after that pathetic loss is considered personal. Well then, toughen up Francis.
In all seriousness, those who are calling for his head are idiotic in nature. Especially this soon. But there were some boneheaded mistakes in coaching there.
And to get the record straight. I is doritos for me...

Craddock said that the offense was trying to take time off the clock in the 2nd half. That's Bert ball, not full tilt boogie. So imho that is the coaches fault. That's why we lost and only had 8 snaps in the 4th
Also said you have to look at Connor Noland for 3rd string qb

I don’t think you have personally attacked him
We have a thread on this board calling him a meth head in the title

safe to say that loss probably got a lot of us in our feelings a little too much.
I'm not going to judge the guy based on what happens this year...... but there had better be marked improvement by this time next year or my tune will change fairly quickly. a year of development and 2 recruiting classes should start to show on the field by then.
