I ran into him at Barnes & Noble the Tue. before Chrima. (go check out Plies' instagram for chrima, his video posts are nuts) So I double take and give him a head nod and start to turn to tell him some positive encouragement actually. Hands are full of books I got to give as gifts so no hand extension to shake was available.
Chaney breaks eye contact, looks to the ground, and hard cuts down an aisle. I've seen him out like this in town about 4 times and I just usually say "Hey coach" and give him the man nod and go on about my shite. It's a problem when a football coach making half a million a year has less confidence than a cockroach like me. I suppose everyone that talks to him when running across him at a buffet tells him to keep running the damn ball and to stop getting cute. But jeez man, embrace the people a little bit, they pay your salary.
