First time listening to him and that guy seems like a breath of fresh air. Too many "sports talk" folks talking about everything except sports. Or just stupid hot take after stupid hot take just to drive clicks.

It may be rose tinted goggles but I feel like his show is what college game day/ College football live used to be. Just a lot of football talk covering lots of teams by people who had clearly watched lots of the games.
Listening to the talking heads these days I wonder if they watch more than the one or two big games of the weekend each week. It's probably why they only talk about Clem/Bama/OK/ND. It's the only games they actually watched outside of highlight clips.

They get their talking points from the higher ups and cater to the largest fan bases. It's why OSU, ND, Texas still get tons of air time even when they don't deserve it.
